Opening for IT Support Engineer for one of our leading client in Dubai, UAE.
JD:
– Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance over the phone, email, or in-person.
– Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
– Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and applications.
– Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
– Document all support interactions and solutions in the ticketing system.
– Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or vendors, as necessary.
– Conduct training sessions to help users become more proficient with hardware and software.
– Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other documentation.
– Work closely with other IT team members to resolve issues and improve support processes.
– Communicate effectively with users to ensure they understand the status and resolution of their issues.
– Provide feedback to improve IT policies, procedures, and user experiences.
– Diagnose and resolve the telecom issues and escalate to the internal IT team.
– Ensure proper documentation for onboarding or offboarding employees.
– Ensure that IT assets are properly managed and that all asset transfers are thoroughly documented.
– Coordinate with external support and suppliers of computer hardware.
– Ensure all systems are up to date with the latest security patches and updates
